SME Industry Day Expression of Interest

Connected Places Catapult is planning to hold an Industry Day on Critical Infrastructure solutions with focus on telecoms infrastructure and 5G supply chain where selected innovative SMEs will have the opportunity to pitch their products and services to potential corporate customers. To help shape the Industry Day, we are welcoming SMEs to submit an Expression of Interest so our team can know what potential innovative solutions are out there and identify target customers that you would like to see at the event. 

We are looking for innovative SMEs who have developed integrated solutions ready to be piloted to tackle common challenges of critical infrastructure owners and operators.

By answering our expression of interest call, you will help us gauge the availability of market-ready innovative solutions and focus our efforts on defining clear challenges and attracting the right potential customers from across the industry.  

Based on the collected feedback, we will define a set of challenges and launch an open call for SMEs to submit a full application. A selected group will be invited to pitch on the Industry Day, this date will be confirmed at later stage. We will however encourage expression of interest to be submitted by end of July.   

The goal of the Industry Day is to provide unhindered access for selected SMEs at pre-commercial stage to showcase their solutions to a receptive audience of early adopters. This in turn opens avenues to create use cases and run trials, which in turn fosters new commercial opportunities for SMEs in a sector ripe for innovation disruption that is critical infrastructure.
