Future Aviation Security Solutions Industrial PhD Partnership (FASS IPP) Studentships

Do you have an idea that could revolutionise how aviation security works in the future?

The Connected Places Catapult (CPC) is delighted to support the Future Aviation Security Solution’s (FASS) new £1 million programme to fund industrial PhD partnerships (IPPs) at Universities.

In this programme academia and industry will be brought together to develop innovative ideas capable of transforming the future of aviation security and promote seamless travel to better the passenger experience.

Proposals for FASS IPPs related to all aspects of security are invited to apply to this initiative, including those from behavioural science, physics, chemistry and mathematics, however this list is non-exhaustive.

The FASS programme was established to promote innovation within the aviation security sector.  It is a joint venture between the Department for Transport and the Home Office with £25.5 million to invest over five years up until 2021.
