Prior to joining the CPC, Mark spent 6 years with Innovate UK KTN, as a Knowledge Transfer Manager in the Infrastructure and Energy team, leading work on the transition to net zero in construction, defence, energy and maritime sectors. This built on his former role as the Regional Manager (South West) and Innovation Lead for the Built Environment at Innovate UK (2010-2015) after migrating from the world of sustainable development and regeneration as the Professional Services Manager at the SW RDA (2004-2010).
Prior to joining the public sector Mark worked as a projects manager for design consultants and civil engineering contractors predominantly in the water, power and infrastructure sectors.
