In this immersive technology programme opportunity information and support webinar, Connected Places Catapult (CPC) and Network Rail (NR) are looking for SMEs to join the UK Innovation community and develop Immersive Technology to visualise and engage with Network Rails assets and infrastructure.

Immersive Environment Webinar; Immersive Technology Programme

Building Information Modelling (BIM) for infrastructure developments are now part of infrastructure engineering development activities in the UK.

NR are looking to explore and understand the ways in which a solution, or combination of solutions, could enable NR to work more effectively with BIM and real time data sources. These solutions would support infrastructure development projects, through life management, maintenance and incident response activities.

Through a blend of digital and immersive technologies, it is believed that geographically distributed stakeholders will be able to experience NR’s digitized assets, collaborate more effectively and make better informed decisions.

This Webinar will provide further information, offer support and guidance and answer any questions you have about the ‘Using Immersive Technologies to Engage with Network Rail’s Digital Assets’ Challenge.
