Lauren SeBlonka leads the innovation portfolio for Amey Highways and oversees the Live Labs 2 project with North Lanarkshire Council, the 'North Campus' of the Centre of Excellence for Decarbonising Roads. Her experience spans across innovation management, decarbonisation, impact evaluation and programme management in transport infrastructure. She also co-leads part of the PIARC World Road Association Technical Committee 1.2 Contribution of Roads to Economic and Social Development, representing the U.K. in the global road community to develop best practice for road investment models that drive economic, social and environmental benefit. With two degrees in Sociology and previous experience in the third sector, Lauren also brings a cross-disciplinary, multi-sector perspective, with a dedication to addressing inequalities and safeguarding a just transition to net-zero.
