Join us on the 11th March for the Urban Links Africa Solutions Showcase
Urban Links Africa has been established by the UK’s national centre of excellence for urban innovation, Connected Places Catapult, to help partnerships between UK SMEs and South African / Kenyan organisations to develop innovative technology solutions to key urban challenges in some of Africa’s most rapidly emerging cities:
- Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa
- Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu in Kenya
For the last five months, a selected cohort of SMEs have been developing their solutions to key urban challenges. The Solution Development is just phase one of the Urban Links Africa’s initiatives, which culminates with the showcase in March.
This will be an opportunity for the cohort of SMEs to showcase their businesses, demonstrate their achievements from the programme and share their future roadmap as they continue to scale their partnerships and solution.
We will also be joined by guest speakers from the public and private sectors to share their vision on the future of the UK and African trading relationship and the opportunities these solutions hold.
Pre-event Networking
We will be holding a virtual networking session after the speakers and pitches. Before this networking event you can already start to connect with investors, innovators and organisation through our collaboration platform – www.urbanlinksafrica.com/.
After quickly creating a profile you can connect, chat and collaborate through this platform. The feature of ‘collaboration rooms’ are also a great way to hold 1-2-1s after the event.
