TRIG 25 Application Support Webinar

Connected Places Catapult is proud to be delivering the Department for Transport’s 2025 Transport Research and Innovation Grants (TRIG) Programme.

On 29 May at 1pm, Connected Places Catapult and DfT will be hosting an Application Support & Information webinar. It will cover an overview of this year's TRIG programme, the challenge areas, and offer support and guidance on the application process. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and seek support to help build a successful application.

This year's edition of TRIG will fund up to 40 organisations up to £45,000 to join a 5-month programme.

In addition to our traditional open call, we have two other challenge areas:

• Freight Innovation and
• Maritime Decarbonisation
  
  New to this year, we have the Critical Technologies cross-cutting theme. This means that the competition will consider funding ideas aligned to the theme and applied to any of the three main challenges (maritime decarbonisation, freight innovation and open call).

We will be running themed Q&A sessions via Teams on the following dates:
