As an airport, operator, or service provider, you know that finding solutions to make your operations more seamless and sustainable is an imperative.
But when it comes to actually choosing and deploying new solutions, you run into the same barriers repeatedly: limited evidence or proof of success, operational risks of testing in a live airport environment and difficulties justifying costs.
Enter the Connected Airport Living Lab programme: a collaborative partnership between Connected Places Catapult and airports or operators to transform your space into a live testbed environment.
Funded by Innovate UK, the programme aims at de-risking the latest innovations that support your future success, saving you time and money in the process. You will benefit from:
- Access to an extensive network of start-ups and SMEs: with innovative solutions across all transport and infrastructure sectors.
- De-risked innovation opportunities: ability to support trials without having to fund the delivery.
- Opportunities for growth: strengthen your operations, develop high-impact case studies, and position your airport as an innovation leader.
- Challenge mapping: support in identifying challenges to be addressed, through targeted workshops with key internal stakeholders.
- Collaboration: by leading the delivery process, Connected Places Catapult alleviates the additional challenge that running in-house programmes of this nature comes with, enabling you to maintain focus on day-to-day operations.
The Connected Places Catapult has successfully run four cohorts of the programme at Glasgow Airport and will soon be opening up the opportunity for new partners.
To be the first to hear about this opportunity when it goes live, sign up to our upcoming webinar where we will be joined by the Managing Director of Glasgow Airport, who will reflect on how the programme has supported them to enhance their operations with new, de-risked, innovative solutions.
