HS2 is the new high-speed railway linking London, the Midlands, the North and Scotland - serving over 25 stations, including eight of Britain’s largest cities and connecting around 30 million people.

The Innovate at HS2 Accelerator aims to create a legacy within infrastructure by identifying disruptive, scalable technologies which drive innovation during the design and build of the railway, to improve efficiency and productivity, reduce carbon footprint, exceed safety standards, foster biodiversity, and digitally transform ways of working.

Since the Innovate at HS2 Accelerator launched in Summer 2020, the alumni have collectively secured 9 commercial projects, £36.5 million in investment, £1.1 million in grant funding and more than £500,000 in commercial contracts with the HS2 supply chain.

Over the last 4 months, the Innovate at HS2 Accelerator has fostered an environment for the cohort of high-growth SMEs to upskill and develop their teams, vision, and technology. By enabling meaningful collaboration between the cohort and HS2 supply chain stakeholders, the programme accelerates the commercialisation of game-changing technologies solving Safety and Net Zero challenges across the mega project and beyond.

Demo Day delivers an opportunity for the cohort to showcase their technology, demonstrate their progress and achievements, and share their future roadmap as they continue to scale their businesses and leverage the new relationships made through the Innovate at HS2 Accelerator.

We hope you can join us to find out more about the innovations transforming Europe's largest infrastructure project and to celebrate the successes of our Net Zero & Safety cohort so far!
