This fast‑paced, insight‑led session brings together industry expertise, cutting‑edge innovation and practical guidance to explore how accessibility can be meaningfully embedded into the transport systems of tomorrow.

We’ll open with a future‑focused perspective on accessibility in transport, setting out emerging trends. This will be followed by live pitch presentations from 5–10 Connected Places supported innovators showcasing bold, early‑stage solutions designed to improve accessibility across the transport ecosystem. These short pitches offer a snapshot of what’s possible when fresh thinking meets real‑world challenges.

For innovators new to the sector, the session will also include practical guidance on entering the accessibility and transport space, covering how to navigate complexity, engage with end users, and design with inclusion at the core. We’ll close with a brief overview of the TRIG programme — highlighting how it supports innovators, builds capability, and accelerates ideas from concept to impact (5 minutes).

This webinar is an opportunity to showcase the work TRIG Alumni have developed through the programme, and is being delivered as part of the Transport Research and Innovation Grants (TRIG) programme.
