Claire is the Head of W2, Wincanton’s Open Innovation Programme, which drives collaboration across the business, and with external partners and start-ups, to create new technology products to add value to customers – now and for the future. Wincanton is a leading supply chain partner, active across a range of markets including food and consumer goods; retail and manufacturing; eCommerce; the public sector; major infrastructure; fuel; and defence. The Group provides business critical services including storage, handling and distribution; high volume eFulfilment; fleet and transport management; and network optimisation for many of the UK’s best known companies. Claire was appointed to Head of Innovation in 2020. She has spent 25 years within logistics in a variety of roles including sales, development, solution design and transport across a number of different sectors. Claire also designed, delivered, and now runs Wincanton’s Supply Chain Innovation Centre. The interactive centre showcases the best of Wincanton’s technology solutions and is an inspiring hub to host customers, partners, colleagues, investors and community groups. Claire is studying for an MSC in Supply Chain Leadership and is also a trustee of a Mental Health Hospital Museum in Bristol.
