Brian is the Insights and Advocacy Analyst for the Digital Utilities team. In this role, he is responsible for conducting research as well as developing and disseminating insights on how innovative digital solutions can drive development in cities. Before joining the GSMA, Brian was a Communications and Partnerships Officer at Kupona Foundation through the Princeton in Africa Fellowship. Previously, he has worked with Equity Bank in Kenya, and with Social Entrepreneur Corps in Guatemala consulting for local non-profits. Brian has also worked with a community-based micro-finance in Kampala, designing an agricultural project that was implemented in Central Uganda. Brian holds a BA in Public Policy and International Comparative Studies and a certificate in Markets and Management from Duke University. He also holds certificates in impact measurement and urban planning.
