Alan is at the forefront of innovation as the leader of the Connected Places Catapult Concept Demonstration team in New Mobility Services. In his role, he spearheads initiatives that propel the maturation and operational readiness of cutting-edge technology. A Transport Planning Professional and Chartered Engineer, Alan gained experience in transport and innovation with over 11 years at transport consultancies and almost 10 years at the Catapult. Passionate about sustainable progress, Alan is an advocate for investing in technology and infrastructure that mitigates the environmental impact of transport as well as driving economic growth and enhancing customer experience. He leads CPC projects relating to transport decarbonisation, such as our investigations into how to accelerate the UK's transition to zero-emission long haul heavy goods vehicles. Alan is committed to driving positive change in the transport landscape and shaping the future of mobility.
