This event, brought to you by Connected Places Catapult, will focus on pitching project ideas and brokering partnerships for the Rural Transport Accelerator programme, sponsored by the Department for Transport (DfT).
This event is ideal for those who have identified specific call topics or at least areas of interest, and are ready to take the next steps, discussing concrete project ideas with potential partners and going forward to a proposal submission.
Why should I attend?
This Consortium Building Event will help you find partners to form strategic partnerships. The key focus of the events will be to provide hands-on advice to give you the final boost and get you ready to submit your proposal. There will be the opportunity to present a pitch about your project idea or your capability offering, and you’ll be able to talk to pitch presenters and other delegates in breakout workshops and 1-to-1s throughout the event.
Who can attend?
The event is suitable for anyone interested in forming a consortium to deliver an innovation project that address one of the programme’s rural transport challenges.
We are looking for demonstrator applications from consortiums involving an innovative SME and at least one of: a Local Authority with a rural area, a Sub-national Transport Body (STB) with a rural area, or a Tier 1 supplier to a Local Authority (provided that they have the ability to run the demonstrator in a rural area).
