Join us on 11th May to learn about two prototypes which explore innovative, cross-sector approaches to planning net zero places.

Achieving the UK’s 2050 net zero target will be the defining challenge of the next three decades and a central driver of innovation across all sectors – but the challenge remains in delivering the most appropriate and feasible local-level actions.

Given the place-based interdependencies between how we live, work and travel, and the fragmented, often slow pace of place planning today, we need to take a coordinated approach across the highest emitting sectors of transport, energy and the built environment to unlock net zero action locally. Yet they often continue to be planned for, funded and delivered in silos.

In this context, Connected Places Catapult has been working with TPX Impact and Open Innovations to explore and prototype how data and technology can promote collaboration, enable coordination and unlock action around two shared net zero challenges.

This webinar will showcase the outcomes of this work, as well as hearing from cross-sector stakeholders who are already starting to explore a more integrated approach in planning for net zero in their neighbourhoods.

We look forward to seeing you there!
