HS2 Accelerator Cohort 4 – Guidance for Applicants

The Innovate at HS2 Accelerator is a partnership between HS2 Ltd, Connected Places Catapult and Bruntwood SciTech. Since the programme launched in Summer 2020, we have accelerated 15 SMEs who have collectively secured 14 pilot projects and £50.5M in funding & investment.

For Cohort 4, we are seeking five innovative SMEs with digital solutions that can solve key challenges faced by HS2 and the wider supply chain. These challenges include Supply Chain Management, Technical Debt & Decision Making, Information Exchange & Data Insights.

The key objectives of the Innovate at HS2 Accelerator programme are to:

• Identify disruptive, scalable technologies to solve challenges for HS2 and the wider infrastructure & construction industry
• Accelerate commercialisation by sparking new relationships with the supply chain
• Foster an environment for start-ups to learn, up-skill and develop their team, vision & technology
• Create a springboard for investment opportunities by unlocking innovative use cases and driving market potential
