This Glasgow Airport Living Lab Digital Twin competition is a partnership between Connected Places Catapult and Glasgow Airport, designed to catalyse innovation and integrate existing digital twins solutions into the aviation industry, enhancing operations at Glasgow Airport.

This Application Support Webinar will provide you with all the necessary information to successfully apply for this innovative programme, as well as give you the opportunity to ask questions.

Challenges

  • Asset Replacement: Develop methodologies for optimal pavement replacement, asset monitoring including vehicles and lighting, and enhancing asset resilience.
  • Passenger Movement: Solutions to maximise terminal capacity, enhance passenger journey experience, and integrate with current infrastructure for dynamic planning.
  • Energy Management: Understand and model the impact of eVTOL operations and EV charging on energy supply, demand, and operational costs.

The Opportunity
This two-phase competition offers successful applicants a chance to showcase their digital twin concepts at Glasgow Airport, with potential funding of up to £3,000 for Phase One and up to £70,000 for Phase Two.

During this webinar, we will walk you through the application process, the guidance document, and how to answer the application questions effectively. We’ll also cover the grant terms and conditions to ensure that you understand the funding process.
