On 2 November 2023, Connected Places Catapult will host its first Freight Innovation Cluster Investor Day – an initiative delivered as part of the current Freight Innovation Fund programme. Running from 2-4pm, it will be held in person at Manchester Art Gallery.
For investors, this event will offer insight into the demand and need for projects presented and help open a dialogue to ensure the right investment decisions are made. This Investor Day gives SMEs seeking investment the opportunity to pitch innovative solutions to a curated pool of investors in the freight and logistics industry. The event will feature projects at different stages of maturity and welcomes an open dialogue on how early-stage projects can be shaped into compelling investment opportunities.
The event will allow SMEs to meet key stakeholders and a range of investors. This will provide a fantastic opportunity to accelerate financial flows into projects as they pitch to investors to raise Seed/Pre-Seed and Early Series A Funds.
