Jeremie Rombaut
Managing Director

Jeremie has a rich background in multicultural business, from mature to emerging industries, and managing a non-profit hospital in Rishikesh India and a school in New Delhi. His experience in the construction is extensive, coming from Lafarge where he held roles as the Head of Growth and Innovation and as a Managing Director. Jeremie Joins Ibstock from his previous position as founder and CEO of Cultiv8 Ventures.

Charlotte Thompson
Innovation Partnership Manager
Arup
Charlotte Thompson is part of Arup’s Digital hub, developing partnerships with innovation leaders to solve sustainability challenges in the built environment. Prior to this, she was part of the investment and business development team at Innovate UK KTN, enabling ideas to be commercialised through accessing public and private finance. Charlotte also worked in a start-up, commercialising a water and nuclear treatment technology for removing waste organic materials, and managed the Science and Technology Facilities Council CERN Business Incubation Centre at Sci-Tech Daresbury. Charlotte has a BSc in Economics and Masters in Enterprise from the University of Manchester.

Effrosyni Tzoura
Innovation Manager

Efi Tzoura is the Innovation manager of Ferrovial Construction in the UK and Ireland. Efi is managing the innovation initiatives fostering the innovation culture, sharing knowledge across projects and coordinating trials of innovative products and services, putting innovation into practice. Efi is a Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE) with a rich background in Civil Engineering projects and academic experience on smart infrastructure and sustainable materials in construction. Efi has previously worked for National Highways, where she has established and led the Strategic Partnership and the Academic Partnerships Programmes at the Innovation and Continuous Improvement Division. She has also led challenging projects across Major Projects with the aim of embedding innovative ways of working, employing lean and change management approaches. Efi holds a PhD with focus on the composite materials in construction in combination with integrity monitoring with smart sensors and systems. Efi is an ICE mentor and a STEM ambassador and is keen to support young engineers to achieve the Chartered Engineer status.

Louisa mentors for REACH, which is a global scale up program created by Second Century Ventures, an early stage technology fund. She also mentors for BRICKS Innovation, the leading Israeli innovation hub focused on Real Estate technologies.

Louisa is an ecosystem connector for various accelerators like Start-up Discovery School: Advanced Construction Programme.

To promote the industry she is so passionate about, Louisa set up the Global podcast ‘The Propcast’ where she hosts and invites guests from the built environment space to join her in conversation about innovation.

Erin leads the Built Environment Directorate at Connected Places Catapult focusing
on housing, place, construction and standards innovation. She has over 17 years’ experience and expertise in planning, housing, urban regeneration, masterplanning and
construction in the UK, India, Ireland and Jamaica. She has led on strategic projects like
the Innovation and Digitisation Strategy for the Belfast Region City Deal; and the Homes
for Healthy Ageing Living Lab Programme. She is an Advisory Board Member of Public
Practice, and has an MA in Urban and Regional Planning, University College Dublin; and
an EMBA from Bayes Business School, London.
