The event marked an important moment for the alliance as it works to ensure that the Communities of Practice are strategically positioned to support the evolving challenges and priorities of the UK’s major infrastructure clients. 

The interactive workshop provided an opportunity for members to connect, collaborate, and network face to face. Participants explored a series of potential innovation projects, including: 

• Developing a circular economy approach with procurement 

• Creating a low carbon technology catalogue to accelerate adoption 

• Producing fatigue management guidance for infrastructure projects 

One of the standout outcomes of the day was the strong synergy identified across all three groups, reinforcing the value of cross-disciplinary collaboration in driving sector-wide change. 

The insights and recommendations captured during the workshop will be presented to i3P client group members, enabling them to prioritise the projects with the greatest potential to address their challenges and advance progress towards shared net zero ambitions.
