Project Summary
Applying proven technology and “Serious Game” approaches increasingly used in other industries, this VR simulation will provide an immersive interactive learning experience available on passenger devices that will directly support disabled people in the UK to better access travel on Northern Trains. Realistic Virtual Reality will enable passengers to experience their journey, and the accessibility support arrangements available in advance of travel, providing clear information in a safe environment that all passengers can access and understand, whilst building familiarity and confidence to travel.
