Nicolette is Head of Projects and Programmes: Strategic Accounts within the Connected Places Catapult. With a diverse background in sustainable transport consulting, R&D regulatory and test management, lean and six sigma practices, she is particularly interested in the development of innovative solutions that are both sustainable and deliver excellence, whilst ensuring that human factors are central. She has a keen interest in the role of smart technology to and data integration in improving public sector efficiencies.
Nicolette has several years’ experience in developing innovative public sector solutions to address the needs of sustainable transport planning and strategies within government. She has experience across multiple transport areas including decarbonisation of transport, business planning aspects of public transport systems, smart cities and data integration solutions for public transport, paratransit and traffic management.
In addition to consulting, Nicolette also has 10 years of corporate industry experience, where she lead and managed technology teams across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, driving them to excel in the global market. She holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University in England, majoring in Systems Theory, Ergonomics and Behavioural Science, and Business. Nicolette is also Six Sigma (black belt) and Lean trained.
