The maritime industry has been awoken by political and commercial drivers to address the challenges of boosting productivity and improving environmental performance. This presents huge opportunities for innovation-led transformational change in our ports and shipyards to develop and adopt greener and smarter technologies. We will hear from two leaders spearheading innovation in their respective companies. We’ll gain insights from niche vessel builder and operator, Bibby Marine and major port owner and operator, Port of Tyne. Together they will paint a picture of where the sector is, and how we are at the gateway to a technological revolution in UK maritime.
