Networking

What is it?

Networking is an important aspect of growing any small business. We use our extensive knowledge of the transport and urban innovations sectors to help SMEs meet the right people at the right time.  This can help your business access funding, support, collaborations and advice to help you reach your goals.

What’s in it for you?

One of the biggest struggles for businesses looking to get new innovations to market is getting your product in front of the right people. We can help you reach out to investors, decision makers and potential partners, so you can make valuable contacts which could lead to the next stage of growth for your business.

We hold a number of networking and support events throughout the year and can offer you opportunities to pitch at these sessions and at larger industry events. We can keep you informed of opportunities to showcase your businesses at home and abroad and, where appropriate, make direct introductions to relevant stakeholders and investors.

We also work closely with government organisations including the Department for Transport, Homes England, Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy and Innovate UK to give promising SMEs the chance to showcase their innovations and the chance to access open calls, grant funding opportunities and competitions.
