Jon is Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) at Connected Places Catapult. He oversees the delivery aspects of the business, including the bids, project management, and project delivery. He is also responsible for the internal deployment of digital innovation as well as other innovative technologies and programmes that create a competitive advantage for the company. In addition, Jon manages Connected Places Catapult’s corporate sustainability policies and activities, as well as Connected Places Catapult’s Cities Commission for Climate Investment (3Ci).
Prior to joining the Catapult in 2017, Jon’s career spanned multiple sectors from Government agencies, public sector, and private companies, operating at both regional and international levels. He joined the Catapult from a world leading multinational property developer and construction company as their Head of Sustainability for Europe and has a long career in sustainable development and innovative technology to improve the built environment.
Whilst at the Catapult he has held several Executive level roles including Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Jon is a member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences, a Chartered Environmentalist, and a Chartered Scientist.
